SturLitFest is growing. We are attracting interest from more publishers and authors. We are attracting visitors from further afield. This means we need more volunteers to help us succeed!

We have several opportunities for people to get involved in the 2026 festival. Specific roles we would like to fill are:

Secretary to the Organising Committee. Take minutes and notes at our monthly meetings.

Programme Logistics Coordinator. Plan the distribution of programmes across the region. You do not need to deliver them all. Just work with us to ensure there is coverage and key locations are topped up.

Bid Writer. Someone who can apply for small grants.

Stewarding events. Welcoming guests to our events and, if necessary, showing them to their seats.

Delivering Programmes. If you can do this on a journey you are already doing, that’s perfect.
