Sturminster Newton

The most convenient place to park, for visitors to Sturminster Newton, is the large Station Rd Car Park.

If coming into town from the A457, via Bridge Street:

  1. After passing through the Market Cross area turn right at the traffic lights.
  2. Follow the B3091 to its junction with Station Road. Turn right.
  3. Follow Station Road uphill. At the top of the hill follow Station Road round to the left.
  4. The entrance to the car park is a couple of hundred metres further along, past the public toilets, on the left.

Other parking is available but tends to be time limited, or has few spaces and/or difficult access.

Marnhull and Shillingstone

The Crown, at Marnhull, and Shillingstone Station have there own car parks.
