Taboo Theatre Company is a co-operative company of local actors. Following on from their success with Rage, Tears and Cider – Peace Day 1919, Taboo Theatre Company are currently working on a new production, The Miller’s Daughter, to be performed at Sturminster Mill on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June. The play is set in 1830, a time of chronic hardship for many ordinary people.  In a presentation at The Swan Inn, the writers will be speaking about their historical sources and the process of writing, with actors delivering rehearsed readings of selected scenes to illustrate their points.
